Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate for Famous Footwear to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the perfect shoe selections while maintaining a clean, organized selling floor.

You will collaborate with teammates, share product knowledge, and contribute to store goals. A positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to make independent judgments with Store Sales Manager input.
• Solid understanding of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment, and inventory) are kept up to standard.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers to find the right footwear.
• Engage customers with product knowledge and recommendations to drive sales.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals and maintain a clean, organized selling floor.
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Support training and development of fellow associates as needed.
