Job summary

Scheels is hiring for a flexible retail associate role in Minnesota. The position offers starting wages at $17.00/hour with the expectation of an average 20 hours per week and a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months of related retail/sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Effectively retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport to staging area.
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to correct locations.
• Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Proactively engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer assistance.
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to shift.
• Partner with Specialty Shop Managers to address urgent department needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to present information clearly to customers and team.
• Work independently or collaboratively across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations and adhere to schedule requirements.
