Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a part-time sales associate to greet customers, drive sales, and promote the Scheels Visa, with a minimum starting wage of $19 per hour plus commission.

Flexible schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10a.m. to 6p.m. Sunday, averaging about 20 hours per week. Benefits include ESOP, 401(k) with Roth options, associate discounts, and full health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1-3 months sales experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver a personalized customer experience.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile.
• Engage customers, determine needs, promote products and Scheels Visa.
• Grow personal sales by meeting goals and following sales standards.
• Create a positive end-user experience based on products purchased.
• Maintain visual merchandising and support freight processing and inventory restocking.
• Demonstrate product usage and retrieve products from heights over 6 ft.
• Attend product training and store meetings; participate in training of new associates.
• Navigate a PC and handheld inventory scanner; use Microsoft Office, Google Email/Docs, and AS400.
• Assist in other duties assigned by leadership.
