Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is hiring a part-time team member in Minnesota to support the shoe departments, stock footwear, process returns, and help customers with a friendly, service-driven approach.

You'll ensure inventory accuracy, prepare devices for use, and collaborate with managers to meet department needs. Flexible schedule with weekends and holidays; average ~20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–3 months of retail/sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and be flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve shoes from back stock and move to staging for sales associates.
  • Process returns and unpurchased items to correct locations with inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
  • Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer assistance.
  • Ensure devices and technology are prepped and operational before shifts.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address urgent needs.

Wage:

Starting at $17.00+/hour

Schedule:

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available every other weekend. Average hours per week is 20 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport them to the staging area for sales associates
  • Process unpurchased items and customer returns to their correct locations while maintaining an organized work environment to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Assist in Men’s, Women’s, and Youth shoe departments as needed
  • Proactively engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance
  • Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to the start of each shift
  • Partner closely with Specialty Shop Managers to identify and address urgent department needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly to customers and team members
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across all levers of the organization
  • The ability to perform basic calculations
  • Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), preferred
  • 1-3 months of related retail/sales experience, preferred

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
