Job summary

TMMG, LLC is seeking a WAF Technician in Seattle to support DDG modernization and repair projects. The role includes managing Work Authorization Forms and ensuring compliance with Navy requirements while supporting the production work.

The ideal candidate will have prior Navy or shipyard experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work onsite at the shipyard and aboard Navy vessels. This role is critical for maintaining production safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with Navy, shipyard, or ship repair processes.
• Strong understanding of shipboard safety and production controls.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle and onboard Navy vessels.

Responsibilities

• Manage Work Authorization Forms and work control documentation.
• Coordinate approvals with production and QA teams.
• Attend daily production and tag-out meetings.
• Verify permits and authorizations are in place before work begins.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and customer reviews.
