Tecnico is seeking a professional to coordinate the submittal and tracking of Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) in Chesapeake, Virginia. In this role, you will train personnel to meet NAVSEA standards and maintain necessary logs for documentation.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with shipboard systems and possess training on Tagout User’s Manual. The position requires the ability to lift heavy weights and withstand various environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior service in the Navy is a plus.
• Familiar with shipboard systems.
• Must have training on and possess a Tagout User’s Manual (TUMs).

Responsabilités

• Coordinates the process for the submittal and tracking of Work Authorization Forms (WAF).
• Trains personnel to the requirements of NAVSEA Standard Item 009-106.
• Maintains a log of personnel trained by contract.
• Verifies Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) are filled out correctly.
• Assigns tracking numbers to each WAF.
• Submits WAFs to customers and tracks until approval.
