Bollinger Shipyards in Raceland, LA is seeking a Technology & Innovation Lead with 8+ years in shipbuilding or manufacturing to identify, evaluate, and advance manufacturing technologies and process improvements across the enterprise.

You will partner with production leaders, Industrial Engineering, and shipyard management to translate challenges into practical technology solutions, build business cases, and deliver measurable gains in throughput, quality, safety, and labor efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in shipbuilding, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
• Experience identifying and implementing manufacturing technology improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain a manufacturing technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Research automation, robotics, digital manufacturing, and material-handling solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, quality, safety, and labor efficiency.
• Collaborate with production leaders and shipyard management to understand challenges.
• Translate operational issues into technology and process improvement opportunities.
• Develop data-driven recommendations and business cases for technology investments.
• Coordinate demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and ROI analysis.
• Build relationships with vendors, research institutions, and industry partners.
