Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Shipyard Technical Manager in Louisiana to lead the technical execution and operational integration of Production and Engineering across the shipyard, ensuring vessel construction is production‑ready, efficient, and aligned with quality, schedule, and safety objectives.

You will oversee the Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with design/build leadership, and report on KPIs in a fast‑paced maritime

Qualifications

10+ years of shipbuilding or maritime experience.
Experience leading vessel construction or manufacturing teams.
Strong understanding of modular construction and waterfront operations.
Experience managing cross-functional teams including production, engineering, planning, and quality.
Demonstrated success improving production efficiency, throughput, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities

Lead production and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure production readiness.
Oversee scheduling, planning, and workflow optimization across shipyard.
Collaborate with design, project management, and build engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor KPIs related to efficiency, throughput, and downtime.
