Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED with related coursework.
• 3+ years in shipyard planning/production control or shipyard trade desired.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
• Ability to read and understand drawings/technical data, detail schedules, and labor hour reports.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements project/production detail schedules and resource planning documents.
• Monitors job progress and updates status in Planning/Engineering Development Control systems.
• Interface with Discipline Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure planning is accomplished.
• Monitor progress and update status in MS Planner/Primavera projects.
• Analyze schedule information and report progress and impacts to leadership.
• Assist engineering leadership with research or special projects.
