Serco is seeking a Waterfront Production Support Analyst to oversee conditions at the shipyard and support production teams in Pascagoula, MS. A DoD Secret clearance is required and US citizenship is mandatory.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and Navy compliance across shipyard operations. You will monitor progress, document discrepancies, and communicate with government teams while preparing reports and simple tracking tools.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience.
• Must obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Experience working in a shipyard production environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Ability to move around ships in an industrial environment ( ladders, bending, standing).
• Excellent oral and technical report writing skills.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production processes, craft or engineering preferred.

Mansioni

• Work with production engineers and waterfront technicians to improve shipyard processes and deliver a safe, reliable ship meeting Navy requirements.
• Monitor production progress, ensure compliance to ship specifications and document discrepancies for the Government team.
• Brief SUPSHIP or PMS 400D personnel on significant conditions or trends affecting cost, quality, or schedule.
• Assemble or construct simple production progressing tools and trackers.
• Identify ship discrepancies and provide recommendations for solutions.
• Verify care and protection methods during construction.
• Review completed trial cards to ensure issues are corrected per specifications.
• Conduct a variety of production surveillance using established methods.
• Prepare trial card and discrepancy reports.
• Develop reports on production completeness for assigned systems, spaces, and units.
• Update readiness for key events using milestone trackers.
