General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks participants for its Shipyard Operations Leadership Program in Groton, CT. You will undergo a comprehensive training and development experience designed to strengthen leadership and technical skills on submarines.

Rotations include offsite trade training and leading a trade in Groton or Quonset Point. The program starts July 2027, with mentorship and exposure to diverse engineering projects and career growth opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Participate actively in the Leadership Program including training sessions and team-building activities.
• Lead the activities of trades employees in preparation, assembly and installation aboard submarines.
• Interface with Engineering, Ships' Management, Quality and other trade departments to understand interdependencies.
• Promote safety, quality, and process improvements across projects.
• Assist in planning, execution, and evaluation of engineering projects with adherence to timelines.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions leveraging technical knowledge.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development in manufacturing operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders about requirements and deliverables.
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding and supporting team members and providing performance feedback.
• Lead self-assessment audits and maintain product quality; handle LMS and documentation tasks.
