Job summary

Armada Inc. is seeking a Brush and Roll Painter to work in shipyards and at customer facilities on U.S. Navy vessels. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and assist spray teams according to NAVSEA and manufacturer guidelines.

The role requires at least 2 years of marine coating experience, ability to lift up to 50+ pounds, and compliance with safety standards including OSHA 10 Maritime. Full-time, hourly pay range $25–$32 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the application of coatings in the marine industry.
• OSHA 10 Maritime Standards (Company may provide)

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating application in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and NAVSEA requirements.
• Paint surfaces using coatings such as epoxy, polysiloxane, enamel, antifouling, and water-based materials.
• Follow NAVSEA standards and manufacturer data sheets for mix ratios and application.
• Assist in removal and touch-up of coatings and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support spray teams and handling of painting equipment and materials.
