Job summary

Armada Inc. is seeking a Brush and Roll Painter to work at shipyards and customer facilities. You will prepare surfaces, mix coatings, and apply various coatings to Navy ships and submarines during maintenance and repair projects.

The role requires experience with NAVSEA guidelines, hand tools, and safety protocols. The position is full-time, with wage range $20.00–$31.00 per hour DOE and on-site work across shipyards.

Qualifications

• Formal or informal on the job training.
• 2+ years of experience in the application of coatings in the marine industry.
• OSHA 10 Maritime Standards (Company may provide).

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating in line with guidelines and standards.
• Apply coatings (epoxy, enamel, polysiloxane, antifouling, water-base).
• Assist spray teams and maintain safe work areas.
• Mix paint and assist with application using brushes, rollers, and other tools.
• Support in containment setup and clean-up as directed.
