Qualifications

• No formal education requirements.
• Four to seven years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shipper/receivers to prepare, receive, load, and unload shipments, ensuring smooth operations within the department.
• Perform shipping functions, including documentation, using relevant software, and inspecting products for quality.
• Support and validate team efforts by answering questions and guiding tasks to meet standards.
• Communicate daily plans and priorities to the shipping team to meet department goals.
• Assist the shipping supervisor by providing regular feedback on workflow and elevating issues when needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Cross-train in production areas to gain comprehensive operational knowledge.
• Work under minimal supervision with reliability and accountability.
