Job summary
Cadrex is seeking a Shipping Supervisor in Ponca City, OK to oversee all outbound shipments, prepare products for shipment, and manage packing materials and carrier coordination. You will provide daily direction to Shipping Clerks and collaborate with Customer Service and Sales to follow shipping instructions.
The role requires at least 1 year in shipping duties, ability to train staff, read blueprints, operate a forklift, and handle paperwork in company and customer software systems.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related shipping experience with proven success.
- Provide supervision and train other workers, especially in shipping duties.
- Understand shipping processes, paperwork, and QA standards.
- Read blueprints and perform as required with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Verify shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders.
- Determine shipping method and label cartons with packing slips.
- Maintain shipping materials inventory and operate forklift as needed.
- Enter data in company and customer software systems and track shipments.
- Coordinate carrier pickup and ensure customer shipping instructions are followed.
