What you will be doing

1. Assist in the hiring process and train qualified candidates for entry-level roles.
2. Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the receiving function of the branch.
3. Lead by example in all staff and customer interactions, in person, on the phone, and in writing.
4. Conduct regular staff meetings to provide feedback, review goals, and coaching.
5. Recognize staff for excellent customer service, goal achievement, or other satisfactory work performance.
6. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
7. Track vehicles for on-time product delivery using routing and monitoring technology, along with customer and branch feedback.

Preferred Job Requirements

1. High School diploma or GED, with some college coursework in business, supply chain, or related fields.
2. 5+ years’ experience in warehousing, supply chain, or related functions.
3. Strong personal ethics, customer service skills, and a commitment to safety.
4. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn company enterprise systems.
5. Aptitude for mathematics and numerical analysis.
