Job summary

Staffmark Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support warehouse operations. The role focuses on packing, labeling, and shipping according to standard procedures and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The position is located in a fast-paced warehouse with a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM) and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional training in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is a plus.
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
Verify product quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
Generate shipping labels and process shipments using carrier and freight systems.
Coordinate with customer service regarding special shipping requirements and delivery updates.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely.
Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems.
Inspect packages for proper labeling and carrier compliance.
Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to support a safe workplace.
