Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Verify product quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Generate shipping labels and process shipments using carrier and freight systems.
• Coordinate with customer service regarding special shipping requirements and delivery updates.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems.
• Inspect packages for proper labeling and carrier compliance.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to support a safe workplace.

Job Duties

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or logistics
• Experience using shipping software, carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL Freight), or ERP systems is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email applications
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet shipping deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
