Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our Columbus, Ohio site. You’ll join an onsite team and coordinate freight shipment appointments, receive and print documents, and collaborate with analysts to resolve issues.

You will key data into our systems, generate inventory transactions, and prepare reports while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong data entry skills, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of AS400

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Functional knowledge of AS400 and JDA software.
• Ability to key data rapidly and accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule freight shipment appointments and call freight companies when needed.
• Receive and print various documents.
• Work with analyst via phone or email to resolve issues.
• Research various issues for all departments.
• Key into databases or spreadsheets, print and receive documents.
• Perform various Customer Service Requests Research all order issues.
• Process MRA’s for distributors.
• Generate and process various types of inventory transactions.
• Generate various lists and reports, distribute as appropriate.
• Key data into the computer system.
• Organize, file, and box appropriate paperwork as needed.
