Job summary

Sage Sustainable Electronics in Telford, PA is seeking a Shipping Specialist to prepare packages and process incoming shipments for domestic customers in a fast-paced production environment.

You will pick, pack, label, and ship cell phones, tablets, and other electronics using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers, maintain accurate records, and support production with cross-training as needed. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Separates and orders according to standard operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Accurately pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Create shipping labels and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carrier systems.
• Verify product quantities, serial numbers, shipping addresses, and order documentation prior to shipment.
• Processes parcels utilizing automated and proprietary shipping systems
• Maintain accurate reporting and databases to support the tracking of each shipment.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Help maintain the shipping/receiving areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Cross-train to assist Production departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Sage is looking for a Shipping Specialist to prepare packages and process incoming shipments for domestic customers. This requires use of computers, emails, scanners and other material handling equipment.

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the picking, packing, and shipping of Cell phones, tablets, and other consumer electronic devices to enterprise customers and direct to consumers. This role will work in a fast-paced production environment and must be able to do multiple job functions. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and has a low margin for error.

• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift: 1-25 lbs. continuously, 26-40 lbs. frequently, and 41-50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift: up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
• Ability to work a designated 8-9-hour shift with additional overtime as required.
