Sage is looking for a Shipping Specialist to prepare packages and process incoming shipments for domestic customers. This requires use of computers, emails, scanners and other material handling equipment.

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the sorting, packing, and shipping of Cell phones, tablets, and other consumer electronic devices to customers and direct to consumers. This role will work in a fast paced production environment and must be able to do multiple job functions. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and has a low margin for error.

Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments is a must. Strong computers skills, utilizing Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn proprietary programs.

• Sorts and packs orders according to procedures
• Processes cartons utilizing automated and proprietary shipping systems
• Helps maintain the shipping/receiving areas in a clean and orderly manner
• Cross-train to assist Production departments
• Other duties as assigned
• Climate controlled facility
• Repetitive duties in a fast paced, high volume and dynamic environment
• Some duties involve working in an ESD compliant electronic environment (safety glasses, wrist strap and smock must be worn)
• The noise level in the work environment is generally low

• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift – 1-25 lbs continuously and 26 to 40 lbs frequently and 41-50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs to push during the assigned shift – up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 occasionally.
• Ability type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
• Ability to work designated 8-9 hour shift with additional overtime as required.
