Job summary

Liveo Research, a global pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Shipping Specialist for our Delaware City plant. The role emphasizes accurate, timely outbound shipments, documentation, labeling, and compliance with cGMP requirements.

The position requires hands-on shipping experience in a regulated environment, familiarity with SAP/ERP systems, and the ability to coordinate with carriers and internal teams to meet delivery schedules. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating shipments with freight carriers and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound customer and inter-company shipments accurately and on schedule.
• Pack and label finished goods according to shipping instructions and customer requirements.
• Generate and verify shipping documents including Bills of Lading, packing docs and inventory records.
• Use SAP/ERP systems to complete shipping transactions and maintain material status.
• Coordinate pickups and shipments with carriers and internal departments to meet delivery schedules.
• Verify shipment quantities, product information, lot/batch information, labels and required documentation before material leaves the facility.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation per procedures and cGMP.
• Identify and resolve shipping or documentation discrepancies before shipment.
• Stage finished goods for shipment and operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain an organized shipping and staging area and follow all safety and quality policies.

Liveo Research is a global manufacturer of rigid packaging solutions with five locations worldwide. Our pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing plant in Delaware City, Delaware is looking for an experienced Shipping Specialist to support the accurate and timely shipment of finished goods.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on shipping experience who understands that accuracy, documentation, labeling, and attention to customer-specific shipping requirements are critical parts of the job.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare outbound customer and inter-company shipments accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare, pack and label finished goods according to shipping instructions and customer requirements.
• Generate and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing documentation and inventory records.
• Use SAP/ERP systems to complete shipping transactions and maintain accurate material and inventory status.
• Coordinate pickups and shipments with carriers and internal departments to meet delivery schedules.
• Verify shipment quantities, product information, lot/batch information, labels and required documentation before material leaves the facility.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of hands-on shipping experience in a manufacturing, distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience preparing Bills of Lading and other outbound shipping documentation.
• Experience coordinating shipments with freight carriers.
• Experience with SAP, an ERP system or Warehouse Management System strongly preferred.
• Experience verifying labels, quantities and shipment documentation for accuracy.Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in a regulated, pharmaceutical, food, medical device or other quality-controlled manufacturing environment is a plus.
