Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• 5 years in a Leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
• 5+ years working in routing or distribution of high-volume industry.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong ERP skills with experience with NetSuite - Scale strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production and Inventory to ensure material and production availability.
• Ensure Routing documents are completed according to customer-specific guidelines in a timely manner.
• Schedule and train staff, cross-train to cover absences and turnover.
• Ensure timely routing of orders and follow routing guides per customer.
• Conduct periodic audits of Routing Paperwork.
• Communicate with Scheduling Supervisor on production needs.
• Schedule on-time LTL shipments and ensure compliance with customer instructions.
• Investigate late shipments and help prevent recurrence.
• Keep Customers, Trucking Company, and offices informed on shipment status.
