Job summary

The UPS Store Centerville is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Center Associate to provide exceptional customer service to retail clients by efficiently receiving and processing packages for courier shipment. This role also involves operating various office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, binding and laminating devices, as well as point-of-sale systems.

The Associate will confidently guide customers by offering accurate information about our extensive range of products and services,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with accurate spelling and basic math.
• Dependable, punctual and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to walk-in clients and telephone inquiries.
• Listen actively to understand customer needs and collaborate with team.
• Handle shipping requirements by recommending practical solutions.
• Learn all product and service offerings and stay updated on industry trends.
• Operate office equipment and assist in training others as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties to support the team and the business.
• Must be able to work weekends.
