Job summary

N C Power System is seeking a capable loader/unloader to work outdoors in Washington state. The role involves loading and unloading equipment for customers, shipping and receiving parcels and large gear, inventory control, and preparing outgoing freight documents.

Must have a valid driver’s license; forklift experience is advantageous. Strong communication with customers and team members is essential in a fast-paced environment.

We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

About The Position

• This position requires working outside with the ability to lift and handle minimum of 50 pounds.
• Primary duties include loading and unloading equipment for customers in a safe manner, shipping and receiving of small parcels and large equipment, inventory management and creating documents and coordinating outgoing freight.

Qualifications & Experience Needed

• A valid driver’s license is required and if you have previous fork lift experience, it is a plus.
• This position requires operating small and large forklifts.
• A working knowledge of engines, generator and electrical parts along with knowledge of hazardous material handling will be very helpful in this role.
• This is a fast paced work environment and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers is required.
