Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Inspector/Receiver in Ogden, UT. The role centers on inspecting, classifying, and accepting or rejecting material to ensure customer requirements are met. You may operate material handling equipment and handle data entry for receiving and shipping processes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus at least three months of general work experience. You must obtain an MHE license within 30 days and complete Inert Certification training; travel and security

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience required or demonstrated ability to perform duties.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Must successfully complete Inert Certification training requirements.
• Position may require travel and ability to pass Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material as per regulations.
• Visual examination or use of measuring devices and techniques under mentoring of senior personnel.
• Read specifications and photographs for DLA contracts when required.
• Use blueprints or schematics under supervision.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands and prepare labels.
• Input data to automated receiving/shipping systems; operate related equipment.
• Count, weigh, record data, and apply tags and labels.
• Perform basic maintenance adjustments to related equipment.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Must be able to obtain MHE license within 30 days

Inert Certification training

May require travel and ability to pass Security Clearance
