Job summary

You will handle kitting, inventory counting, material transport with forklift or pallet jack, and interpretation of work orders while following safety protocols and lean practices. This role requires reading blueprints, using basic hand tools, and collaborating across departments to meet quotas and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Based on department, may operate forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for the kitting process.
• May maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
• Transport product, parts, and materials by using, forklift, pallet jack, or crane
• Understand and execute work orders provided by VSA's, VSL's or VSM's
• Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all shop orders and blueprints
• Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
