Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower in Brookings, SD is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to organize stock, load/unload, and support production with safe, accurate material handling. You will inspect materials, follow shop orders and blueprints, operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed, and maintain clean, organized work areas while complying with 5S and safety rules.

This role requires good math, familiarity with measuring tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with up to 2 years of experience.
• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, continuous improvement documentation, safety rules, standard work instructions written in English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure; ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and properly.
• Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Organize stock efficiently using forklifts, pallets, cranes, etc.
• Facilitate and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform quality inspections of materials to ensure delivery meets specifications
• Keep the warehouse organized and maintain cleanliness
• Complete documentation and work in a timely manner
• Crating and packaging using hand or power tools
• Verify no damage to incoming or outgoing products
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned space
• Act in accordance with company core values
