Job summary

Quad Franklin is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our packaging operation in Franklin, WI. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 pm, with an hourly rate DOE.

You will verify incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinate with mills, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain inventory accuracy. Join a collaborative team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency as part of a modern facility producing folding cartons and blister cards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Comfort operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfort using computers and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to communicator with mills to keep shipments on track and on time.
• Review incoming shipment notices and double-check all the details.
• Send shipping paperwork to the right people so everything stays flowing.
• Receive materials and returns, making sure what shows up matches what’s expected.
• Track inventory like a pro—logging quantities, tagging products, and organizing pallets.
• Flag and quarantine any questionable products.
• Team up with Logistics and CAM to resolve inventory puzzles and discrepancies.
• Help load and unload trailers—you'll stay active.
• Build and organize pallets of finished goods.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running smoothly.
• Share your knowledge by training and mentoring teammates.
• Jump in wherever needed—teamwork makes everything better.

Quad Franklin is looking for a shipping and receiving Technician to join our team! Working hours: M - F 6 am-2 pm. Hourly rate: DOE 19.24-24.25/hr.

What You'll Be Doing ( Your Daily Wins)

You'll be the heartbeat of our warehouse operations-making ensuring everything that comes in and goes out is accurate, on time, and in great shape. You'll stay in close contact with our mills, keep shipments moving smoothly, and help maintain a well-organized, safe, and efficient workspace.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of shipping/receiving experience (a plus, not a must-have superstar origin story)
• Comfort operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail (you notice the little things others miss)
• Basic math and solid problem-solving skills
• Clear communication-both written and verbal
• Comfort using computers and inventory systems
• The ability to juggle tasks and work independently without missing a beat
