Job summary

Quad Franklin is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Technician to support our packaging facility. Hours are M–F, 6 am–2 pm, with a DOE hourly rate $19.24–$24.25. You will ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and on time, while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2–3 years in shipping/receiving, with experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential to succeed.

  • 2–3 years of shipping/receiving experience.
  • Familiar with forklifts and pallet jacks; basic math and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to communicator with mills to keep shipments on track and on time.
  • Review incoming shipment notices and double-check all the details.
  • Send shipping paperwork to the right people so everything stays flowing.
  • Receive materials and returns, making sure what shows up matches what’s expected.
  • Track inventory like a pro—logging quantities and organizing pallets.
  • Flag and quarantine any questionable products.
  • Team up with Logistics and CAM to resolve inventory puzzles and discrepancies.
  • Help load and unload trailers and keep storage moving.
  • Build and organize pallets of finished goods.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and running smoothly.
  • Share knowledge by training and mentoring teammates.
