Job summary

Michelman in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Leader to oversee safety and productivity across all shipping and receiving processes at the Shell Location. You will serve as a working lead, guiding the team and coordinating with cross-functional partners to ensure on-time customer deliveries and adherence to quality standards.

You will report to the Warehouse Manager, drive continuous improvement of S&R processes, manage staff schedules, and mentor team members to uphold

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a shipping & receiving role.
• Knowledge of standard shipping & receiving processes.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily shipping & receiving activities to ensure safety and productivity.
• Coach and develop team members; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Manage team schedule and staffing levels; escalate issues to leadership.
• Support onboarding and personnel processes in partnership with Leadership.
• Ensure security of facilities during designated shift hours.
