Job summary

Michelman, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Leader to manage safety and productivity in the S&R area at the Shell Location. You will lead daily activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time customer delivery while developing team performance.

The role requires 3 years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience, and leadership skills with a proactive, accountable mindset. OT may be required to meet workload demands.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a shipping & receiving role.
• Forklift experience.
• Knowledge of standard shipping & receiving processes.
• Experience leading and coaching others.
• Proactive, safe and accountable work approach.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to foster a safe, empowered shipping & receiving team.
• Support safety, quality and productivity systems and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for S&R processes.
• Escalate safety, production or quality issues to leadership.
• Oversee onboarding, quarterly performance management, and other personnel activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehousing environment.
• Investigate and document incidents or near misses and report to leadership.
