Job summary

Michelman, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler / CDL Driver to join the Shipping & Receiving team. You will perform shipping, receiving, and warehousing in accordance with ISO procedures and OSHA/DOT regulations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate operations.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, forklift experience, basic computer and barcode scanner skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment across Michelman's Cincinnati facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat Endorsement required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use barcode scanners.
• Strong communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle raw materials: transfer to distribution center.
• Perform material handling and proper storage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Match shipping documents/labels, verify accuracy, and schedule pickups with LTL carriers.
• Load trucks safely considering trailer length, axle position, and HazMat rules.
• Unload inbound shipments, inspect for damage, stage for inventory, and sign delivery paperwork.
• Enter receipts into the computer system and generate raw material labels with correct barcode/lot numbers.
• Deliver finished goods to inventory locations and ensure GMP compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Follow procedures and suggest improvements for shipping/receiving processes.
• Provide final check of products shipping to customers.
