Michelman, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a dependable 2nd shift Team Leader to back up the Shift Supervisor, lead daily operations, and ensure safety and quality while coordinating production priorities.

You will coach operators, monitor equipment, uphold standard work, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Engineering to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on chemical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to guide peers, train new hires, reinforce standard work, and maintain an organized shift.
• Understanding of EHS, quality, housekeeping, chemical handling, permits, area readiness, and production documentation.
• Ability to read batch sheets, SOPs, SDS, labels, production schedules, process data, and shift communication tools.
• Ability to make time-sensitive decisions that protect safety, quality, compliance, and production continuity.
• Ability to communicate clearly during shift handoffs and when escalating concerns.

Aufgaben

• Provide shift direction, coordinate work assignments, and keep the team aligned to safety, quality, and production priorities.
• Offer technical knowledge and troubleshooting support during batch production, packaging, and related activities.
• Organize the shift by reviewing needs, balancing staffing, and supporting handoffs between shifts.
• Safely operate and monitor production equipment and related process controls.
• Escalate safety, quality, equipment, or production concerns promptly and support continuous improvement.
