Job summary

US Tech Force seeks a Shipping and Receiving Team Lead in the Appleton, WI area. The role oversees inbound and outbound shipments, collaborates with multiple departments, and ensures efficient material flow in a metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include creating BOLs, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining an organized facility. Must have 3+ years shipping/receiving experience, leadership preference, and forklift operation skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics.
Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
Proficient with computers, email, and data entry.
Ability to learn and manage multiple freight/shipping processes.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming shipments of all sizes.
Prepare palletized shipments for outbound delivery.
Create and process Bills of Lading for outgoing freight.
Coordinate shipping with carriers (UPS, FedEx, trucking).
Maintain an organized, safe shipping/receiving area.
Complete and organize receiving docs for Purchasing.
Collaborate with production, welding, painting, purchasing, and PM teams to ensure material flow.
