Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
• Proficient with computers, email, and data entry.
• Ability to learn and manage multiple freight/shipping processes.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift experience required.

US Tech Force has an immediate need for Shipping and Receiving Team Lead for a great company in the Appleton, WI area that specializes in Metal Fabrication

Shipping and Receiving Team Lead Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments of all sizes, including trucks, trailers, pallets, and packages.
• Prepare palletized shipments, large orders, and packaged materials for outbound delivery.
• Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing freight shipments.
• Coordinate shipping through various carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and trucking companies.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving area.
• Complete and organize receiving documentation for the Purchasing Department.
• Collaborate with production, welding, painting, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Shipping and Receiving Team Lead Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience required.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience in the metal fabrication industry ideal.
• Proficient computer skills, including email, shipping software, and data entry.
• Ability to learn and manage multiple shipping and freight processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience required.

Wage: $20-$25 depending on experience

1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM with OT available depending on the incoming & outgoing loads for the day.
