Job summary

Qualified Staffing in Neenah, WI is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead for 1st shift (7am–3pm, M-F). The role oversees daily shipping and receiving operations, supervises a team, and ensures accuracy of documentation and ERP records.

You will coordinate with drivers and vendors, operate forklifts, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs while maintaining safety and quality in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience (certification preferred or ability to become certified).
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping and receiving operations with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Provide professional customer service to drivers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
• Report damaged or incorrect shipments and complete required documentation.
• Prepare shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and monitor delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Lead the annual physical inventory process.
• Ensure materials are stored properly and delivered to the correct departments.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform other assigned duties.
