Pridgeon & Clay Inc in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead shipping/receiving, manpower planning, and daily scheduling. You will drive on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and lean improvements while coordinating documentation and cross-functional teamwork.

Competenze

• Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience leading teams in an industrial environment.
• Experience with hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and collaboration skills.
• The ability to perform projects with a high degree of detail.
• Exceptional professional attributes: self-motivation, dependability, confidentiality.
• The ability to build effective work relationships.
• Ownership of calipers and micrometers for shop use.

Mansioni

• Lead daily manpower planning to meet shipping/receiving requirements and schedule overtime appropriately.
• Monitor and control overtime schedules and costs.
• Ensure shipping metrics: on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, Kanban attainment.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage import/export shipping logistics.
• Oversee documentation, QA collaboration, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional team communication and lean initiatives.
