Relapath is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift at our Findlay, OH location. This direct-hire role requires forklift/Hi-Lo expertise, strong communication, and the ability to drive daily shipping operations and team performance.

The ideal candidate will coordinate loading/unloading, ensure accurate shipping documents, and support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining excellent customer relationships in a dynamic automotive-related environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2nd shift shipping and receiving operations with rotating weekends.
• Analyze shipping requirements and prepare ship lists to meet needs.
• Coordinate storage, loading and unloading to preserve product integrity.
• Ensure proper shipping documents and EDI transactions as required.
• Schedule inbound/outbound freight and manage shipping team priorities.
• Maintain records, pricing, and current shipping/billing information.
• Develop positive customer relationships and serve as backup contact.
• Identify and drive departmental process improvements.

Relapath is currently recruiting a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to work 2nd shift at our customer's location in Findlay, OH. This is a direct-hire position with competitive salary, benefits, and annual bonus potential!

This Position Will

• Work 2nd shift with rotating weekend coverage.
• Analyze customer's shipping requirements and create ship lists to meet requirements.
• Utilize forklift/hi-lo experience
• Coordinate the safe storage, loading, and unloading of product to ensure integrity of product.
• Coordinate proper shipping documents for each shipment.
• Conduct E.D.I. transactions, as required by the customer.
• Schedule trucks for inbound and outbound freight
• Direct shipping team & team leader on priorities and assignments.
• Maintain records: releases, shipping documents, pricing, update/keep current shipping/billing information
• Maintain shipping supply inventory.
• Develop positive relationships with customers, with a high degree of customer service, serving as a customer contact backup.
• Identify and execute departmental continuous improvement projects.
• Treat all team members with professionalism, respect, and dignity.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Forklift/ Hi-Lo experience

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Materials, or similar/equivalent
• Some knowledge of Plex manufacturing software
• 1-2 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving Supervisor role in the auto industry.
• Forklift/ Hi-Lo certification
