Job summary

ISCO Industries is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to support our distribution network. You will verify and record incoming, stocking, and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment by performing loading, unloading, packing, and inventory tasks.

The role emphasizes problem solving with continuous improvement, data accuracy in ERP and TMS systems, and potentially forklift operation. Prior warehouse/shipping experience is preferred, and this position is on site at our facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience or ability to be trained and certified to operate forklift.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify products received from suppliers against packing lists and record accurately.
• Load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
• Store products to appropriate shelves and organize inventory.
• Determine best packing methods to protect products during transit.
• Use TMS to select shipping mode and carrier to minimize lead time and cost.
• Use ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy and data integrity.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate root causes of problems.
• Make recommendations to improve processes and work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
