Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Must be computer literate.
• Requires the use of judgement in setting up shipments and contacting freight carriers.
• Ability to operate stand up forklift and other material handling equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping software, inventory management systems, and barcode scanning equipment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer literacy, including the ability to navigate inventory and production systems.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and inventory accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ship finished products and receive raw materials, unfinished parts and supplies.
• Weight, assemble/palletize goods on pallets, coordinate shipping schedules, load and unload trucks.
• Follow company safety rules and wear PPE (safety glasses, shoes, gloves).
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings.
• Prepare bills of lading for shipments as needed.
• Use network and PC-based computer programs.
