Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control through receipt, storage, movement, picking, and shipment of materials. The role ensures material availability, accuracy, and efficient flow within the facility.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting materials, moving items, handling shipping/receiving transactions, and maintaining inventory integrity, while complying with safety policies and procedures in a onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments.
• Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Process shipping and receiving transactions accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock rotation practices.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of warehouse areas.
• Monitor inventory in secured storage locations and report discrepancies.
• Follow procedures for material movement and storage.
• Comply with safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with other inventory control and warehouse duties.
