Job summary

Nopak, LLC. in the Greater Milwaukee Area is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to run the day-to-day in our shipping and receiving department.

This working lead role will pack and load, build crates, schedule freight, prepare shipping and export paperwork, and move material on the forklift. You will direct two Shipping & Receiving Associates on first shift, establish standard work, ensure shipments align with orders, and maintain ERP records.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
Experience leading or directing others and enforcing processes.
Proficiency in preparing shipping documentation and scheduling freight with carriers (LTL, truckload, parcel).
Ability to build crates/pallets and select appropriate packaging.
Forklift certification and willingness to be trained on an overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipment; load and stage outbound freight with forklift and overhead crane.
Schedule shipments with carriers within guidelines; ensure accuracy of packing slips, bills of lading, and ERP entry.
Develop and maintain standard work for the department; verify shipments match orders before sealing.
Direct two Shipping & Receiving Associates on first shift; assign work and provide guidance.
Own receiving and putaway processes; inspect incoming shipments and ensure proper putaway.
Lead international shipping and export documentation as needed; work with freight forwarders to document shipments.
