Job summary

Base is seeking a Materials Associate to manage shipping, receiving, and material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will verify paperwork, maintain inventory records, and ensure safe, efficient movement of goods to production lines.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, hands-on logistics, and collaboration with the production team to meet schedules. This is a full-time, on-site position in a dynamic startup setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years shipping/receiving/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70+ lbs.
• Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfortable with manual labor in a physically demanding environment.
• Demands up to 12 hours per day.
• Able to stoop, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch and twist for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Package and wrap products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify paperwork accuracy using ERP and ensure correct quantities and parts are shipped.
• Process inbound shipments, verify counts and quality against paperwork.
• Deliver in-process materials to production areas as needed.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Load/unload trailers and maintain clean work areas.
• Participate in end-of-month inventory and daily production meetings.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely, and move materials within the warehouse.
