Job summary

MCC Label in Provo, UT is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to act as the primary contact for inbound and outbound drivers, verify paperwork, maintain schedules, and ensure accuracy. You will unload shipments, prepare items for shipment, route to departments, and work with Customer Service to coordinate efforts.

The role requires forklift and pallet jack operation, basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Education: high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Forklift and pallet jack operation required.
Reading, writing and speaking clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

Pulls customer orders and prepares shipping documents accurately and promptly.
Prepares skids or pallets for shipping; applies stretch wrap.
Unloads raw materials from trucks; inspects incoming shipments.
Routes items to departments and scans items into the system.
Operates forklift or hand truck to move shipments; verifies counts against bills of lading.
Schedules freight carriers for pickups and completes manifest paperwork.
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies; ensures safety policies are followed.
