Job summary

Responsibilities

• Pulls customer orders and prepares shipping documents accurately and promptly.
• Prepares skids or pallets for shipping and applies stretch wrap as needed.
• Unloads raw material from trucks and assists in loading outgoing shipments.
• Unpacks and inspects incoming shipments; records shortages and coordinates with shipper to resolve issues.
• Routes items to appropriate departments and ensures proper labeling and tagging.
• Operates forklift or pallet jack to move shipments between dock, storage, and work areas.
• Verifies shipment details against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Schedules freight pickups and completes manifest paperwork for shipments.
• Collaborates with Customer Service to coordinate shipping efforts.
