Job summary

Caterpillar's Griffin, GA facility is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support inbound and outbound materials, verify shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure on-time, compliant material flow and documentation.

Responsibilities include receiving, shipping verification, PFEP data capture, and OS&D tracking while upholding safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or distribution.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound materials and shipments for accuracy.
• Validate material quantities and support shipment documentation.
• Record receipts in inventory systems and PFEP data.
• Identify discrepancies and support timely resolution.
• Verify outbound material and shipment information before shipment.
• Coordinate staging and movement of material for outbound shipments.
• Support inventory counts, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigations.
• Maintain OS&D tracker and resolution documentation.
• Operate safety equipment and follow PPE/OSHA requirements.
• Maintain safe, compliant warehouse practices.
