Job summary

Caterpillar in Griffin, GA is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk II to verify part numbers, locations, and inventory accuracy. You will support inventory control, order fulfillment, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, ERP transaction validation, and safe material handling. Shift: Mon–Thu 6:30AM–5:00PM with overtime opportunities. Location: Griffin, GA.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, material handling, or parts distribution.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory and transaction records.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
• Research discrepancies, reconcile records, and identify root causes.
• Validate receipts, shipments, transfers, and stock movements in ERP.
• Maintain warehouse records and monitor inventory areas for accuracy.
• Support month/quarter/year-end inventory processes.
• Document audit results, corrective actions, and discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Assist with warehousing, shipping/receiving, and order picking.
