Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a Contract to Hire role based in Newnan, GA. The ideal candidate will handle inbound/outbound shipments, maintain inventory, and support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, kitting, and forklift-safe material handling, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and timely order fulfillment. Onsite work in a warehouse setting with standard benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with picking, packing, and kitting.
• Ability to operate forklift or willingness to learn.
• Experience with inventory management systems/ERP or barcode scanning.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and record items in inventory systems.
• Prepare outbound shipments with correct items and labeling.
• Perform kitting for production and customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with cycle counts.
• Organize materials for production and warehouse operations.
• Use ERP, barcode scanners, and MS Office for tracking.
• Coordinate logistics to meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners.
• Follow safety procedures in warehouse.
