Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support efficient material flow across production areas. You will coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have shipping/receiving or warehouse experience and familiarity with SAP or inventory systems, along with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Must have shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
Experience with SAP or other inventory systems.
Experience tracking and reporting operational metrics.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

Process and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
Receive, inspect, verify, and distribute materials to support production needs.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and inventories.
Coordinate material movement between warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
Track shipping, receiving, and inventory performance metrics.
Resolve material, inventory, and shipping discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Support process improvements that enhance efficiency and on-time delivery.
Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation using business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Communicate daily with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support operational goals.
